These images have been shared with us from the collection of Retro Baloncesto. This set consisted of four illustrated ‘trade cards’ distributed within packages of Tetlow Gossamer facial powder. The series depicted women playing a variety of sports for different colleges; basketball, fencing, rowing, and golf. It's postcard size and single-sided printing make it debatable whether or not it is considered a trading card, but many consider this to be the first basketball card of all time.
