1936 Muhlen Franck Olympia

This Olympic set was produced by Muhlen Franck, a coffee company. Most of the Olympic sports were outside of the four major American sports, but the set does feature basketball with at least one card. The set is significant to basketball collectors as 1936 was the first year basketball was featured as a medalist sport in the Olympics. More importantly however, this year also unfortunately marked the propaganda-filled Olympic Games by the ruling Nazi party.
