This multi-sport set from Israel includes the number of the card placed on the bottom-right of the front of the card. The player depicted here is Lavon Mercer, a center who drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in the 3rd round of the 1980 NBA draft, but ended up playing 14 seasons in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, where he was the MVP in 1981. He eventually obtained Israeli citizenship, and also played for the Israeli national basketball team. If you have any other info about this set, please let us know!
