Arguably the most recognizable set of basketball cards in collecting history, this 132-card set helped revitalize a dying hobby. Due to the counterfeiting issues with Star Co., most collectors identify the cards of Jordan, Malone, Barkley, Olajuwan, Ewing and Stockton from this set to be their official rookie cards. In addition to the base set, each pack contained a stick of gum and one sticker card insert. Packs of ‘86 Fleer were available at most of the nation's big department stores and drug store chains.
